The Event & Meeting Coordinator will be responsible for advertising events, coordinating meetings, and keeping us on track. This officer is preferably a sophomore or junior, but anyone is welcome to apply.
The Scribe will be responsible for drafting e-mails, keeping minutes, and maintaining our Sakai wiki. This officer is preferably a freshman or sophomore, but (again) anyone is welcome to apply.
If you’d like to apply, please prepare the following:
- The position you’re applying for.
- Your full name.
- Your official Rutgers e-mail address.
- 1 paragraph on who you are and why you decided to come to Rutgers.
- 1 paragraph on what CS topics interest you and why.
- 1 paragraph on why you think you’re the best for the position you’re applying for.
Be sure to use a spell-check utility (GNU Aspell, etc.). Send your answers to the above to our e-mail address with the subject “USACS Officer Application”. Please do not send your application to any specific officer; otherwise, it will be ignored!
We look forward to hearing from you!
